Huan Mao is an associate in the Landlord-Tenant dispute & litigation practice at Alpha Law. Huan represents both landlords and tenants in housing courts across New York City’s five boroughs, handling residential and commercial matters involving both rent-regulated and free-market properties. As a trial litigator, he has extensive experience with non-payment and holdover eviction proceedings, HP actions, illegal lockout cases, HPD-related disputes, and NYCHA matters. His practice spans the full range of landlord-tenant work — litigation and non-litigation matters, trial and appellate proceedings, and related actions in New York State Supreme Court, including Article 78 proceedings.

Huan also appears in administrative proceedings before the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR), advising clients on matters involving rent-stabilized and rent-controlled buildings.
